Happy Friday Eve!!
We’re almost through another week, ready to praise the weekend gods of sleeping in 😉
My week has absolutely flown by, I can hardly believe tomorrow is Friday – such a great feeling!
I’ve really been thinking a lot about last night’s yoga class. I really feel thankful that my boyfriend volunteered us to go, when I had been dreading it.
Today was one of those days when I really stopped to think about all of those things – big and small – that I should be grateful for.
I’m fortunate for so many things: the free yoga class to bring some needed zen to my life, to live in such a place where the windows and doors in that yoga class can be open in January, for my boyfriend and dog who bring me such immense joy and happiness – my new family, and the family and friends who have guided and cared for me, bringing me to the place and person I am today.
Taking a few moments each day to express gratitude really puts things into perspective. I have so many wonderful things to be grateful for… all the other stuff that I stress about each day doesn’t matter.
If you haven’t taken time in a while to think about all of the great things in your life, now is a great time to do so! Even if you’re having a stressful day, week, or for what feels like eternity, you’re here in this life, and that itself is the biggest thing to be grateful for of all.
Don’t sweat the small stuff.
